You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both
its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself
to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.
Isaiah 26: 3 Amplified Bible

  1. I am a visual person and your picture speaks of the perfect peace that comes from God. As I am writing this the crickets are playing a lullaby which adds more serenity to this post. Patty

Our Father In Heaven, We come to You this day, O Lord, so thankful for who You are, and for all You’ve done. You are the Great God Almighty. Mighty in Power, Mighty in Love, Mighty in all things, and are able to give us all the spiritual gifts we need in order to do as You desire, and to do Your will. Father, I pray, that You will take our hands this day, and every day and that You will lead us on the path to everlasting love and peace. Father, I pray that You will make us through the power of Your Holy Spirit streams of living water to all we meet…that through us the love of our Eternal Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ might flow out of us to all, and that we might give to others what You have given to us. Let us give to each person we meet Your love, Your grace, Your kindness, Your patience, Your gentleness, Your peace, Your forgiveness. Father, I pray that You give us the strength, the courage, the trust, the faith to look at every person we meet and see them with Your eyes and Your heart, and that we may respond as You would respond in each and every situation we may encounter today as we walk with You.

Father, we come to You, and we claim Your promises of healing and cleansing, for ourselves and for all who are suffering, and we lay claim to Your peace, and ask You to give all those who are grieving that peace which transcends sorrow, and that You will show them much tenderness and love as they go through the grieving process. Father, for those who are struggling with physical, mental, and emotional problems, we pray Father, that You will use Your power to restore these people, that You will lift them up out of the pit of pain, despair, and darkness into the bright and shining light of Your grace and forgiveness where they may again find the strength You provide to continue their walk with You.

Father, we ask that You put a hedge of protection around all those we love, and ourselves, and that You will provide for our needs today, that You will keep us away from evil, and deliver us from temptation, and that most of all, Father, you will forgive us our trespasses and we forgive those who trespass against us. Cleanse us from every taint and stain of sin, and then take all that we are and possess in the way of ability and use it to transform any darkness we may encounter into a light so bright that all may see You standing there before them in all Your perfect, just, and true holiness. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen.

    1. I always like to leave a peaceful scripture at night! Just makes me sleep better! It is so true, when our trust stays in place so does our peace! Remind me of that, okay? 🙂 Love you, sweet sister!!

      1. 😉 No, you remind me of that! I am sure I am worse than you..I’m a sensitive person, like you, who always has a bunch of different stresses popping up in my life on a regular basis! I might be high maintenance for you on this though.. LOL
