Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity
in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work
from beginning to end.  Ecclesiastes 3:11 NLT

One of the most prominent things I find when praying for people is guilt and regret.  They did not do everything perfectly (surprise, surprise!) and feel they don’t deserve to be blessed.  They feel whatever negativity that has come their way, they deserve it for past mistakes.  They cannot seem to forgive themselves and therefore cannot receive the blessing God has bought, paid for, and is trying to give them!  It is time to let go of the past, know that it is repented of and washed in the blood and to walk on in the power and blessings of God!

Your sins are not covered when you repent, they are WASHED AWAY never to be remembered again.  When people bring your past up, tell them, “I repented of that long ago and God has forgiven it, never to be brought back up by Him to me again.  That is the past and I am not there anymore!  If you want to talk about something else, I will be happy to, but I refuse to go fishing in the blood!”  Also, remember satan is the accuser of the brethren.  He is the only one who can remind others of your past as well!  It isn’t God doing it!!

The garden in the picture did not always look like it does now.  Someone had to plant seeds for those beautiful flowers to come forth.  At one time it was barren of this beauty.   Someone had to plant, tend, and cultivate this beautiful place!  You do the same thing with your life.  What you don’t want, uproot it and get your mustard seed faith planted first.  I love this parable!  Do you know that a mustard seed is so small it can barely be seen in the palm of your hand?  When it grows, it grows so tall and its branches spread so far that it covers all the unwanted plants.  The sun cannot shine through the branches and the mustard seed plant actually causes the death of all the plants and weeds it covers!  Your mustard seed faith is literally bringing an eternal end to things you planted when you sowed things that were not good for you and others around you!  The Bible also says God uproots all things HE has not planted.  As soon as your soil is free, and all it takes is the prayer of forgiveness, from plants that do not bring forth what is good and a blessing to you and others, you have room to plant what is beautiful, and faith is the “Miracle Grow” on those beautiful seeds!  Your crop or garden cannot fail because our verse tells us God makes ALL things beautiful in its time!  He also says He has PLANTED eternity in the hearts of men but they cannot see the beginning from the end!  Again we see God plants in us  as well!  What has He planted there?  Things so wondrous it will be blessings along the journey you could not have imagined for yourself!

Don’t like what you are seeing in your life?  Uproot it in prayer!  Speak scripture promises and plant a whole new crop!  God will surely bring it to pass!  If you don’t see immediate results, stay in faith!  Remember when a farmer plants his harvest the seed doesn’t produce that same day.  It sometimes takes some time.  When the seed goes into the ground it begins to grow right then, even though your eyes don’t see what is happening beneath the rich soil.  Then one day you look and you see the beginning of a brand new thing!   Don’t dig it up with words of doubt and unbelief!  Water it with praise and fertilize it with faith!  It is surely on its way!!

Blessings to you, dear reader!  I hope the devotional blessed you today!  I will see you next time!!
