I have always heard, when you want to know the truth, GO TO THE SOURCE!  I decided to let the Bible do the talking for me!  This is what GOD says about homosexuality or gays and lesbians.  I think it is a timely piece!

9 Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.  1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Leviticus 18:22 (KJV): “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind it is abomination.”

Genesis 13:13: “But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.”

Leviticus 20:13: “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”  (AIDS)

Romans 1:24-32   “24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them”

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

I found a book for those who are struggling with homosexuality that will really help you!  It is “An Affair of the Mind” written by Laurie Hall and published by “Focus on the Family”.  There is hope and complete deliverance for all who want it!

  1. Thank you for posting the scripture, our church is going through a transition allowing homosexual pastors and it is going to vote to allow same sex marriage, needless to say it is tearing our denomination apart. I knew the verses, but I needed to see them today, reassuring me that God loves all of His people and there is hope and deliverance for all of us.
We do not have a Chik-Fil-A in our area but I will be with you in spirit. We need more Christians like him and his business. He is welcomed here in PA to open his restaurants! ~ Blessings

    1. I am agreeing with you, Patty for a complete turn around! God warned us this would take place in the last days! His coming is truly at hand! Blessings to you, my sweet friend! My prayers are with you and your church….I am believing for the light of His knowledge to come in this situation!!

  2. Good Word, Juliana. Can you tell me, what is Aug. 1st represent? One of the ladies mentioned Aug. 1st. I dont watch the news much, so just wondering.

    1. It is when Christians are eating at Chik-Fil-A all 3 meals to show their support for the owner standing on his principles and not caving in to public opinion on this issue. He has been denied access to open his business in several large cities because he is against same sex marriage.

  3. Excellent article and so very true. Many believe Christians despise the homosexual, when in fact it’s the sin of homosexuality that we despise. Thanks for sharing this word with us. 🙂

  4. I love the posts that directly confront the things everyone else is too afraid to post because they either don’t want to be unpopular or they’re trying to be politcally correct so as to avoid any rebuttal or confrontation.

    1. This has been weighing on my heart for days! I thought it was timely since Aug. 1 is around the corner and it has been given so much attention lately. You can’t argue with the truth and win!

God bless you! I'd love to hear your thoughts!
